The UK Retail Foreign Exchange Division operates as one of the UK’s largest independent foreign exchange providers, Currency Exchange Corporation Ltd (CEC Ltd), part of the Fexco Group, is a leading travel money provider of complete foreign exchange services. We are driven by a spirit of innovation and focus on customer experience in the provision of travel money, supported by our committed and passionate teamsin No1 Currency, CEC and Sainsbury's Travel money stores across the UK.

Salary up to £38,000 + Bonus

Remote, ideally Southern UK based

Job Purpose

  • Drive the strategic growth of the RFX division by identifying, evaluating, and segmenting market opportunities across the UK, with a focus on industries aligned to our FX proposition.
  • Manage the full end‑to‑end sales cycle, including prospecting, outreach, relationship development, discovery meetings, proposal creation, pipeline management, and onboarding through to contract signature.
  • Target, engage, and build strong working relationships with high‑value prospects within priority sectors, ensuring that decision‑makers and key influencers are effectively identified and nurtured.
  • Own and deliver against personal sales and revenue targets, ensuring consistent pipeline activity, accurate forecasting, and strong performance against annual objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities for the RFX division across both small‑scale and key account prospects, including assessing potential product or service enhancements that support growth.
  • Generate and qualify high‑quality leads through targeted research, networking, outbound calling, and proactive engagement across corporate clients, independent retailers, and affiliate channels.
  • Initiate, plan, and deliver effective sales meetings with prospective clients, clearly presenting our FX solutions and closing new business in both corporate and independent retail environments.
  • Ensure all new clients meet commercial viability, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards, conducting appropriate due diligence in line with business policy.
  • Drive revenue generation from new business, actively working toward and exceeding agreed commercial and performance targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, establishing strong, trusted relationships that support long‑term retention and client satisfaction.
  • Represent the business at relevant conferences, exhibitions, and industry events, promoting our brand and building relationships that support future sales opportunities.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven Business Development experience, with strong B2B2C sales capability ideally gained within the retail, financial services, or payments sectors. Experience in the FX industry is highly advantageous.
  • Self‑motivated, driven, and confident working autonomously, with the ability to prioritise effectively and maintain consistent commercial focus.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills, capable of persuading and engaging both internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage professionally and confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Able to work under pressure, balancing a diverse and demanding workload while maintaining high standards of accuracy and delivery.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across the UK, including overnight stays when required.
