About

The Role

Working as part of a team, you will provide support to young people aged 16-21 who are experiencing homelessness. You will offer advice and guidance on training, education and employment, as well as support with developing independent living skills to prepare them for moving on into their own accommodation. This role focuses on each young person's individual needs and aspirations, where you will build positive relationships and provide a safe, supportive environment.

Day

To Day Duties
  • To provide support and advice to tenants within the scheme both on a 1:1 basis and as part of group-based work.
  • Assist the Support Worker in the day to day running of the service.
  • Develop and run workshops for clients during evening and weekends, as appropriate.
  • Be the first point of contact for all telephone calls and visitors to the service and to deal effectively with queries.

Pay and Pensions
  • £24,531.00 FTE (£12.75 per hour)
  • Sleep-in rate: £62.64 per 8 hour shift
