AboutThe Role
This is a Scheme Support Officer role based in our Supported Accommodation Services on a relief basis. The position is ideal for individuals with other commitments or anyone who wants to try something new, giving you the chance to feel you are making a difference daily. Managers will offer shifts in the Swansea area (or further if you wish) with as much notice as possible;
you may be contacted on an ad‑hoc basis when shift cover is needed, so hours may not be guaranteed.
- Cam Nesaf – 24‑hour temporary housing support in the Swansea area for young people aged 16–21, providing advice and guidance on training, education and employment and supporting them to develop independent living skills to enable a move onto independent sustainable accommodation.
- Swansea Young Persons – temporary accommodation for young people age 16–24 who are experiencing homelessness; the service delivers intensive housing‑related support to individuals ready to gain independence and a tenancy of their own.
- Llys Awen – 24‑hour temporary supported accommodation in the Gorseinon area of Swansea for young people aged 16–21, enabling them to achieve their goals and empower them to lead independent lives within a psychologically informed environment.
- Relevant work experience and knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable people.
- A passion to work with and enable people to live as independent a life as possible.
- An enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to people's lives.
- A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player.
- Ability to deal with conflicting and difficult situations.

Pay and Pensions- £24,531.00 FTE (£12.75 per hour)
- Sleep‑in rate: £62.64 per 8‑hour shift
