Full Stack PHP + Vue Developer (Hybrid/Remote - South Wales/South West England)

We are seeking a passionate Full Stack PHP and Vue Developer to join our small, tightly knit team. This role involves coding and problem-solving across our entire tech stack, focusing on greenfield projects, enhancements, and refactoring existing automotive SaaS applications.

Dealer Kit is revolutionizing automotive retailer businesses by streamlining operations from sales leads to after-service. We are a tech-led business looking for our #1 developer hire to propel our SaaS apps forward.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 PA |

Location: Hybrid (Mainly Remote, must reside in South Wales / South West England for required meet-ups)

You will work across the full stack, collaborating directly with the founder and CTO, and influencing the entire development process, feature shaping, and process honing.

• Develop Laravel-powered backend APIs, implement features in Vue / Type Script UI, and build mobile apps using React Native.
• Drive modernization of legacy modules (PHP/Laravel/Symfony + Vue 2 → Vue
  3).
• Improve code quality, system performance, and reliability.
• Own critical API integrations and external service connections.
• Review code and mentor team members via pull requests.
• Enhance CI pipelines, deployment reliability, and developer tooling.
• Maintain system observability using Sentry and monitoring tools.

• 5+ years of commercial experience with PHP (preferably Symfony / Laravel), Typescript / Java script (preferably with Vue).
• Strong foundation in relational databases (MySQL, Postgres).
• Proven experience working with REST APIs and integrating third-party systems.
• Passion for technology and developing skills across frontend, backend, and Dev Ops.
• Ability to take ownership of entire projects, building APIs and clean UIs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Dev Ops experience, including maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc).
• Mobile / React Native development experience.
