Our role supports Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.
Job Title: Multi Drop Delivery Driver.
Department: Transport.
Location: Swansea Service Centre.
Reports To: Driver Team Manager.
Hours of Work: 48 hours Per Week (Monday – Saturday).

To ensure the speedy, efficient and accurate delivery of assembled product and invoices to the customer within the corporate guidelines. All staff are expected to understand the principles of Good Distribution Practice of Medicinal Products for Human Use (2013/C 68/01) which is reflected in our SOP –  1 AHDL GDP 1.1. Mandatory annual refresher training will be mandatory; job‑specific GDP training will be provided as per personal training matrix.

• Maintain a safe and competent standard of driving, observe speed limits and other traffic signs, and give due regard to other road users.
• Perform a daily vehicle check to ensure roadworthy condition (lights, brakes, coolant, etc.).
• Report any faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays.
• Maintain the internal and external condition and cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Ensure sufficient fuel for the day’s work.
• Maintain vehicle and contents security at all times.
• Check all orders on drop sheets and ensure all orders are loaded.
• Collect goods returned for credit, mail, cheques or delivery bins and return them safely to the branch.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Report damages/breakages promptly, following special procedures for Hazardous Chemicals.
• Maintain a smart appearance at all times.
• Help maintain good customer relations.
• Perform other duties as defined by Management.
• Meet Health & Safety requirements.

• Essential:
  Full driving licence relevant to the vehicle; over 21 years of age for insurance purposes; existing employees must update fleet services with any changes to licence status.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer‑care.
• Intermediate numeracy and literacy.

• Previous multi‑drop delivery driving experience.
• Route planning experience.

• Constant interaction with external customers.
• Regular liaison with other drivers and members of the transport team.

• Required to act on own initiative and work unsupervised.
• Required to monitor the condition of own vehicle and report damages or faults.
• Serious faults or damages may result in the driver deciding the vehicle is not roadworthy.

Drivers are required to maintain a smart appearance owing to constant interaction with external customers.
