Hgv class 2 concrete mixer driver

Based in Swansea and surrounding areas.

Great opportunity to work with a Family run business working out of Hansons Heidelberg Materials Swansea,

Monday - Friday overtime available as and when required, Must be flexible.

occasional Saturday (paid extra)

Bank Holidays off.

Christmas shut down.

Must have a valid cpc, and will need mpqc/epic card, experience preferred but not essential.

Rates are to be agreed depending on experience

monthly pay.

• You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete to various locations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks
• Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements.
• Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
• Safely operate a commercial truck to transport concrete to designated locations
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members

• Valid hgv class 2 driver's license with a minimum 1 years experience, with a clean driving record.
• Ability to navigate using GPS systems or maps to ensure timely deliveries
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
