Warehouse Furniture Pulling and Customer Pickup Associate

Do you enjoy working in a fast pace environment while performing physical work Cardis Furniture & Mattresses is looking for an energetic hard working individual to work in their warehouse Furniture Pulling & Customer Pick Up Department This position is key to ensure Cardis WOW customer satisfaction by ensuring furniture is pulled correctly and customer pick ups are processed with the highest level of customer service

Pay  Hourly Schedule Sunday 10a 630p Mon & Tue Off Wed thru Sat 2pm 1030pm indicates that you may stay later frequently due to work load

• Pulls merchandise from inventory for customer orders being picked up by the customer or being delivered to the customers homes in an orderly accurate timely and safe manner.
• Loading of Furniture and accessories in customer vehicles.
• Scans picks pulls and re wraps and puts away product utilizing proper material handling techniques and equipment to minimize damages.
• Operates manual and mechanical equipment such as dollies andor hand trucks in a safe and efficient manner to move or hoist product to proper area location.
• Complies with all applicable company health safety and quality standards and policies procedures rules and regulations.
• Commitment to Cardis Furniture & Mattresses safety policies and procedures.
• Models company image and culture through positive attitude spirit of cooperation appearance and respect for company policies and procedures on every aspect of role functions.
• Perform other functions as needed and required.

This position has no management supervisory responsibilities.

NO Experience required.

• Safely lift furniture merchandise while elevate on warehouse equipment at heights of 30 40 feet above the ground
• Lift move push and pull furniture up to and in excess of 110 pounds
• Physically able to be on your feet and move throughout the warehouse over an 8 12 hour work day
• Ability to work well with others and function in a team environment
• Excellent listening skills
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Solid reading skills must be able to read orders match orders to picking labels
• Ability to maintain emotional composure in a warehouse setting with customers peers and management

• High school diploma or general education degree GED preferred but not required
• Valid drivers license required stock picker certification helpful but not required since will train and certify in house
• Prior related experience and or training preferred but not required
