PT HR Generalist Wanted in Swanton, VT

** MUST HAVE ADP PAYROLL PROCESSING EXPERIENCE**

Pay: 18-30/hr Based on experience

Shift: Training M-F 7am-1:30pm Once trained moving to M-F 6 hour shifts between 6am – 5pm.

Position Responsibilities:

• Preparation of weekly payroll, including verification of time and attendance records, ensuring accuracy of payroll deductions, taxes, and benefit contributions.
• Recruitment, on-boarding and terminations
• Conduct new hire and benefit orientations and employee recognition programs.
• Maintain performance evaluation schedules and talent management programs.
• Assist with disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations.
• Maintain employee personnel, medical, benefit, and complaint files.

Requirements:

• High school education required or an equivalent of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
• At least 1-2 years of previous Human Resources experience required
• Excellent computer and data entry skills and proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn to organization’s HRIS, benefit and Microsoft software systems
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
