Work Schedule:

Training: M-F 7:00am to 1:30pm;

Work hours:

M-F and can range from 6:00am to 5:00pm (6‑hour shifts)

Wage Rate: $18.00 to $30.75 (starting wage negotiable based on prior experience)

Position Summary: A Human Resources Generalist performs administrative tasks and services to support the effective and efficient operations of the organization’s Human Resources Department.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and best‑practice policies for a multi‑state employer.
  • Preparation of weekly payroll, including verification of time and attendance records and ensuring accuracy of payroll deductions, taxes, and benefit contributions.
  • Recruitment, onboarding, and terminations.
  • Conduct new‑hire and benefit orientations, and employee recognition programs.
  • Maintain performance‑evaluation schedules and talent‑management programs.
  • Assist with disciplinary matters, disputes, and investigations.
  • Maintain employee personnel, medical, benefit, and complaint files.
  • Act as a liaison for employee‑manager interactions on complex and sensitive matters.
  • Adhere to company procedures for handling and archiving both physical and electronic documents.
  • Continued education to keep abreast of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, employment law, and talent management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records and business information related to personal, medical, financial, procedural, and proprietary data.
  • Follow all company policies, ergonomic standards, and safety guidelines.

Perform other duties as required. Regular and on‑time attendance is required, and employees must be present on schedule and remain through the full shift.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of previous Human Resources experience, specifically:
    • Direct, hands‑on work with ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
    • Payroll preparation, processing, and transmission
    • Recruitment and onboarding of employees
