Job Location:
In-Person, $18-$29.50/Hour (Depending on Experience), 2nd Shift (Training on 1st Shift), Monday-Friday, Full-Time, Excellent Benefits

Our client is a well-established manufacturing organization, and they want you to join their team as a Heat Treat Operator
.

Primary Responsibilities as a Heat Treat Operator:

• Set up, operate, and tend to heat treating equipment and processes
• Monitor temperature and timing of heating cycles to achieve specific Rockwell hardness
• Monitor furnaces, tempering ovens, nitrogen generator, controls, and amperage
• Prepare and load baskets and perform sample cutting using cut-off saws
• Operate Rockwell testers, straighten heat-treated materials, and inspect production parts
• Dismantle and repair furnace and tempering ovens
• Perform basic data entry for job tracking purposes

  Skills and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior heat treat experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a high heat/high humidity environment, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for full shifts (8+ hours)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to learn technical procedures
  • Dependable work ethic with a focus on safety and quality
