JOB SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of the Resident Outing Coordinator is to act as Community driver and Attendant for Individuals during local community and health related appointments, ensuring the Individual’s safety and that information needed for the Individual’s Service Plan is exchanged.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Plan, organize, implement, evaluate and direct all outing services with the community
- Provide information to prospective and current residents about the transportation/outing program
- Assist in the development and implementation of an ongoing quality assurance program for the outing department
- Participate in various committees of the facility as necessary and/or directed
- Maintain a professional demeanor in the midst of verbal or physical aggression
- Other duties as assigned
- Must hold a current drivers license relevant to the vehicle in which will be operated
