Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Bilingual Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace environment. This position requires strong communication skills, strategic planning abilities, and a passion for talent management. The Human Resources Specialist will work closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic guidance:
    Serve as a strategic advisor to the General Manager on all people and culture issues to enhance employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
  • Talent management:
    Lead initiatives across talent acquisition, workforce planning, and employee development. This involves creating and monitoring the onboarding process to ensure new hires align with company values.
  • Compensation and benefits:
    Oversee and administer employee benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and comply with legal requirements.
  • Compliance and safety:
    Ensure adherence to all labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies, especially in a food production environment.
  • Culture and engagement:
    Act as a culture champion by fostering collaboration and creating programs that shape a positive, values-based culture. This can include monitoring and enhancing the overall employee experience.
  • People operations:
    Oversee the implementation of People & Culture systems and technology, such as HRIS and time-tracking systems, and provide data-driven insights into workforce metrics like turnover.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience supporting a diverse, high-volume workforce.
  • A strong understanding of HR practices and labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading initiatives related to talent, engagement, and culture.
