Qualifications:
Registered Nurse licensed currently in the State of Texas. Experience of one year as a professional nurse in Home Health Setting. Current certification in Basic Life Support must be maintained. Must have current driver's license, and dependable vehicle, with proof of liability insurance, motor vehicle record which complies with RPMH policy #622.
Oversees day to day operations of Home Health Program.
SupervisesAll Home Health Personnel
Internal and External ContactsGeneral Public, representatives of other Health Care Facilities, Physicians, and other in-house personnel. Representatives of Medicare, and Medicaid. Patient's and Patient's families.
Physical DemandsDuties of the position require extended periods of sitting, with computer work, may involve lifting up to 25 lbs., bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, and handling equipment. The potential of some bending, stooping reaching, pulling, and pushing when providing care to patients. Lifting up to 50 lbs. and occasional heavy lifting in supporting or moving patients who may suddenly become weak or helpless.
WorkEnvironment
Office, committee meetings, patient's home with travel required. Marketing of discharge planners, doctors and their staff, community presence.
