• Design, develop, qualify, validate, and implement ligand‑binding immunoassays that support clinical endpoints across the Sanofi vaccine portfolio.
• Apply methods and technologies that include ELISA, RIA, Luminex, Ortho VITROS, ECL and automated platforms.
• Mentor and supervise laboratory personnel, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and agency standards.
• Serve as key technical resource within the organization and on multidisciplinary teams.
• Spend a high percentage of time in the laboratory.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Biological Sciences or related field – minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Biological Sciences or related field – minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Biological Sciences or related field – minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience.

Additional qualifications:

• Previous experience developing and/or applying ligand‑binding immunoassays to detect and quantify analytes in biological or complex samples, evidenced by scientific publications and presentations.
• Ability to work with viruses, bacteria and potentially infectious human samples (BSL‑2 or BSL‑2+).
• Leadership experience mentoring and training lab staff.
• Strong ability to deliver complex objectives under aggressive timelines in a rapidly changing environment.
• Excellent technical, critical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to manage projects, resolve technical problems independently and work effectively within cross‑functional teams; experience in GXP‑compliant environment.
