OverviewSanofi delivers 4.3 B healthcare solutions annually. The Site Project Portfolio Leader supports, mentors, and manages the Swiftwater portfolio management team within the Swiftwater Strategy and Portfolio function, ensuring alignment of project portfolio and resources with site strategic objectives, budgets, and reporting metrics.
Responsibilities- Lead and mentor the portfolio management team, overseeing cross‑functional planning and execution of site CAPEX/OPEX to meet schedules, budgets, and quality objectives (70 %).
- Build and manage the site project portfolio against the annual budget, strategic forecast, and critical paths, identifying milestones.
- Develop resource plans aligned with project timelines; coordinate allocation across cross‑functional teams.
- Coordinate M&S product flows between sites and CMOs, and collaborate closely with M&S Finance at local, site, and corporate levels.
- Challenge assumptions on budgets, schedules, and resources; manage updates in SHINE.
- Provide budgeting, scheduling, risk reporting to PM management, steering committees, site leadership, and global leadership; define KPIs and analyze variances.
- Coordinate scope changes and governance communications.
- Recommend and drive improvement opportunities; communicate lessons learned.
- Organize and lead project steering committee meetings and other stakeholder meetings.
- Support PMF in applying the Project Management Guidebook and Sanofi standards; lead initiatives to enhance practice across the team (30 %).
Site‑level responsibility. Key metrics include on‑time/on‑budget delivery, budget maintenance, status communication, improvement implementation, and stakeholder management.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Science.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment in the pharmaceutical, food, or fine chemicals industries.
- Proficiency in project management processes, schedules, resource estimation, and CAPEX/OPEX budgeting.
- Ability to develop business cases, manage change orders, and consolidate financial information.
- Advanced MS‑Excel and MS‑PowerPoint skills.
- PMP certification desirable.
- Experience with SAP desirable.
- Experience with Planisware (SHINE) desirable.
