As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access control, and assist employees, visitors, and patients with professionalism and care. ** Security Experience*
* 2. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant security experience (C115). This experience should demonstrate the ability to manage security protocols, respond to incidents, and maintain a safe environment.

** Access Control/Badge Experience*
* 4. Candidates must possess experience with access control systems and badge management (B201). This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access credentials for personnel and visitors.

5.  
** Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet*
* 6. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets (B204). This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage electronic communications, and utilize digital tools effectively.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and security-related protocols within a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor entry points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.

+ Communicate observations, concerns, and security-related incidents promptly to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have at least one year of security-related experience.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
