Internal Medicine Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – Swindon

Salary: £30,000–£34,000 FTE Job Type: Full-Time |
Hours: 40 hours per week

An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a specialist Internal Medicine team in Swindon.

This role is ideal for an RVN looking to specialise in internal medicine
, develop advanced nursing skills, and gain experience managing complex referral cases within a supportive clinical environment.

The successful candidate will support a varied caseload including:

• Endocrine disorders
• Gastrointestinal disease
• Respiratory conditions
• Renal and urinary cases
• Infectious disease
• Oncology and chronic case management

This role is ideal for an RVN with an interest in inpatient care, diagnostics, and patient progression
.

• 40 hours per week
• Shifts between 8:00am – 8:00pm
• 1 in 8 weekends (with time off in lieu)
• 1 bank holiday per year

• Structured induction and clinical support

Applicants should:

• Be a qualified RVN
• Have 1+ years post-qualification experience
• Demonstrate a strong interest in internal medicine and inpatient care
• Be motivated, proactive, and keen to learn

Referral experience is beneficial but not essential.
