Year 4 Class Teacher – Swindon

Are you a passionate KS2 Teacher ready for a fresh challenge in a nurturing and forward‑thinking environment? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Swindon is seeking a Year 4 Teacher to join their vibrant team and guide a class of 29 enthusiastic learners through an exciting stage of their educational journey.

The role is a maternity leave position and start at the beginning of December 2025.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a motivated and caring KS2 teacher who brings energy, creativity, and a child‑centred approach to the classroom. Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
  • Strong classroom management and planning skills
  • A warm, inclusive teaching style that supports all learners
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • A current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers
