Academics ltd are working with a school in Swindon who are seeking individuals that are passionate about helping students from a range of different backgrounds engage with learning. We are looking for individuals who can provide support on a 1:1 basis to students.

Graduate SEN Teaching assistant main responsibilities:

Provide support to students with complex needs
Be a positive influence for students
Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and health and safety of students in the classroom
Build strong, trusting relationships to help pupils feel safe and supported.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience working in a school setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Well organised with good attention to detail
Ability to keep calm under pressure and manage challenging behaviour
