Job Description
Are you an experienced and confident primary teacher looking for a consistent part-time role? A friendly and supportive primary school in Swindon is seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to join them on a long-term, ongoing basis every Monday-Thursday, with the potential for the role to become permanent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who values stability, teamwork, and a nurturing school environment.
About the Role
Working days:
Tuesdays and Thursdays
Contract:
Long-term ongoing with potential to become permanent
Year groups: KS1 or KS2 depending on experience and school need
Class size:
Approximately 25 pupils
SEN profile: A small number of pupils requiring additional support
Planning:
Shared planning in place; minimal individual planning required
Support:
Collaborative staff team with strong communication across year groups

A qualified and experienced primary teacher
Strong classroom management and a nurturing, child-centred approach
Someone who enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team
A teacher who can deliver high-quality learning with shared planning structures in place
