Cover Supervisor Secondary Schools, Swindon

£120–£160 per day (dependent on experience). September 2026 start. PAYE only.

Are you confident leading a classroom and passionate about supporting young people in education? We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of welcoming secondary schools in Swindon from September 2026.

These opportunities are available on both short-term and long-term assignments, making them ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced support staff, or anyone looking to gain valuable school-based experience.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences by delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain focused and engaged throughout lessons.

• Supervising secondary school classes across a variety of subjects
• Delivering lesson instructions and ensuring students stay on task
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school expectations
• Supporting a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Following safeguarding and school procedures at all times

• Previous experience working with young people is beneficial
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
