Are you looking for a rewarding SEND Teaching Assistant role in Swindon? Do you have experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
Axcis Education is recruiting enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to work across a range of specialist SEND schools in Swindon. We have full-time and part-time positions available, with flexible working patterns to suit your availability.
Our partner schools support pupils across both primary and secondary age groups, offering varied and rewarding opportunities to make a real difference in students' lives.
The Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant
We're looking for candidates who:
* Are energetic, creative, and enjoy engaging with children and young people.
* Have experience working with pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, or other additional needs.
* Are committed to helping every student achieve their full potential.
* Work well as part of a supportive team and are eager to learn and develop professionally.
* Have a positive attitude and a genuine passion for inclusive education.
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday during term time only.
* Typical hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm.
* Flexible days available to fit around your schedule.
* No weekend work required.
Requirements
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
* Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable, particularly within SEND settings, schools, care, youth work, or support roles.
