Maintenance Engineer – Swindon, Wiltshire

£45,000 – £50,000 per annum

Monday – Friday

Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing products of exceptional quality. With a strong order book and continued growth into export markets, they are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.

• Respond to machine breakdowns with a view to minimising downtime and improving long‑term machine reliability.
• Execute the Lead/Senior Maintenance Engineer’s plan to work preventatively in addition to reactively.
• Use appropriate root cause analysis tools and 5S.
• Actively support a culture of continuous improvement, looking for ways to engineer out persistent problems.
• Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance.
• Accurately record all maintenance tasks performed on an electronic reporting system.

• Formal engineering qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or apprenticeship‑trained.
• 18th Edition ISO/CE standard knowledge.
• Continuous improvement knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of good engineering standards.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing or production environments.

• £45,000 – £50,000 per annum.
