The Support Worker Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to children, young people, families and adults with a range of care and support needs.

Support Worker Requirements

To be considered for these Support Worker roles, you should have:

  • A minimum of one year’s UK Health and Social Care experience
  • A compassionate, patient and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work confidently as part of a team
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred, particularly for community-based assignments

Relevant experience may include working as a Support Worker, Residential Support Worker, Children’s Support Worker, Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Family Support Worker, Youth Support Worker or Learning Disability Support Worker.

Swindon, Royal Wootton Bassett, Highworth, Cricklade, Wroughton, Marlborough, Chippenham, Calne, Devizes, Melksham, Trowbridge, Cirencester and surrounding areas across Wiltshire.
