Opportunity

Our IT Degree Apprenticeship is a great opportunity for someone who would like to start a career with one of the world’s most successful insurance companies. You’ll be able to earn and learn in an apprenticeship role that will give you a job with real responsibility from day one, whilst studying for a fully funded degree.

As an IT Apprentice you will be given the opportunity to spend time with various teams within our IT department, allowing you to explore different areas before specialising in the area that most aligns to your passions.

Your role could involve:
  • Service Management:
    Help maintain and improve our technology infrastructure, ensuring systems run smoothly and securely. This may involve resolving problems and automating workflows.
  • Automation Projects:
    Get involved in initiatives that use tools like Blueprism to automate repetitive tasks, freeing up time for more valuable work.
  • Cybersecurity &

    Risk Management:

    Support projects that protect our data and systems, learning best practices in security and compliance.
  • Data Analytics:
    Use platforms such as Power BI to analyse data, generate reports, and provide insights that help drive business decisions.
  • Project Management and Business Analysis:
    Working on IT projects providing cross‑project administrative support, assigning and tracking tasks, working with stakeholders, fulfilling governance requirements or gathering requirements.

Our team works across a range of technology and business functions, giving you exposure to diverse projects and the chance to learn from experienced professionals. You will be supported and challenged throughout the program whilst working on projects and initiatives ensuring you put the customer at the heart of all we do. Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll rotate through several key areas. This structure is designed to help you discover your strengths and interests, while building a broad portfolio of technical and professional skills.

Alongside work you will complete a Level 6 BSc Digital and Technology Solutions Degree as part of the apprenticeship. The apprenticeship will take 36 months plus an End Point Assessment at the end.
