About the role Earn £13.45 per hour, (£26,300 per annum, pro rata),and great benefits including Health Cash Plan Home, a place where you belong We have a brilliant opportunity to join our fantastic Swindon Team. We are the multi skilled hands-on practical support that helps our colleagues deliver services to our customers. We work with customers with a range of needs, including mental health needs, learning disabilities, young families and ex-offenders across a mix of properties and grounds.

As our handy person youll spend much of your time working across Swindon. Typical day Perform minor or emergency repairs, decorating and cleaning in properties and communal areas. Handle tasks like hanging curtain poles, moving furniture, touching up paint, changing washers, unblocking sinks, mowing lawns and clearing grounds. Carry out regular fire safety checks. Work closely with colleagues, contractors and customers Liaise with Customer Service Centre and contractors to report and follow up on repairs outside your remit.

General maintenance know-how, including a bit of carpentry, basic plumbing and confidence with a paintbrush or broom. Comfortable working and communicating with people from all walks of life. Ability to use technology for online learning, emails etc. To get from A to B, youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage!
