Bodyshop Manager
Location: Swindon
Salary: £55,000 + Bonus
Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday

Our client is seeking a talented Bodyshop Manager / Bodyshop Controller / General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their high-performing bodyshop. This role is key to delivering outstanding customer service and achieving strong site profitability by motivating, supporting, and leading the team to deliver top-quality repairs on time, every time.
The successful candidate will actively manage the full customer journey, ensuring an exceptional service from the first booking to vehicle return.
Responsibilities of a Bodyshop Manager / Bodyshop Controller / General Manager
- Deliver financial results in line with agreed budget targets
- Manage site resources and costs to maximise capability and profitability
- Effectively manage work provider and supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, PAS
125, and manufacturer standards - Oversee company processes and structured performance management
- Maintain a professional and confident presence while engaging with customers and staff
Skills and Qualifications for a Bodyshop Manager / Bodyshop Controller / General Manager
- Proven experience in performance management and staff leadership
- Understanding of HR policies and recruitment procedures
- Audatex experience is essential
- Ideally experienced with modern management systems and printed estimating packages (desirable but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication skills and a calm, confident approach
