About the job We are currently looking for experienced Modern Slavery Accommodation Support Worker based in the Swindon area to work as a member of the team, and alongside Case Workers to provide a safe temporary environment for vulnerable adults from outside the UK who have experienced trauma and exploitation.
In the role you will:
- Be responsible for day-to-day health and safety of accommodation provision
- Be responsible for safety, risk management and security of service users whilst on shift
- Promote best practice in supporting survivors and monitoring impact of services and outcomes for survivors
- Administrative duties: maintain administrative systems, records, statistics and any administrative tasks related to the service users.
What we are looking for:
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, safeguarding, and quality frameworks.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults and the ability to work within a residential or community setting with no‑UK residents.
Additional requirements:
- This service is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week; you must be willing to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- You will be part of an on‑call rota and must be able to get to and from the project via public transport or your own car if necessary to attend the project whilst on call.
