Pertemps, in partnership with Royal Mail, is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Day Drivers for ongoing agency work at the Swindon Distribution Centre.

• Trunking mail and parcels between Royal Mail depots nationwide
• No multi-drop work

• Day start times between 03:00 – 14:00
• Competitive hourly rates (£21.57 – £24.61 per hour)

Reliable daytime shifts. Strong rates. No guesswork.

• Valid HGV 1 (C+E) licence held for a minimum of 2 years
• At least 6 months’ proven commercial driving experience
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 minor penalty points (no DD, DR, IN, CD or TT endorsements)
• Strong geographical knowledge and professional attitude
• Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours & WTD regulations
• Confident completing manual tachograph entries
• Ability to pass a DBS security check
• Completion of site assessment & induction before first shift
