HGV Class 1 Driver

Based in Coate, Swindon, this temporary full-time position offers a Class 1 Driver (C+E) role with Pertemps Royal Mail, paying between £21.99 and £25.12 per hour. Your primary duty involves trunking mail and parcels between Royal Mail depots across the nationwide network. This is purely a driving position; no handballing is required, ensuring a focus on safe, professional operation along planned routes.

A range of morning, evening, and weekend shifts provides flexibility. We seek experienced, safety-conscious HGV drivers with a valid Class 1 licence who value reliability and professionalism. • Transport mail and parcels between Royal Mail sites
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain high safety standards
• Follow planned routes and scheduled delivery times
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism at all times

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence held for 1+ years
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong awareness of road safety and compliance
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving in the last 12 months
• Maximum 6 penalty points
• Ability to pass driver vetting and a DBS check

• Excellent pay: £21.99 –£25.12 per hour (shift dependent)
