Class 2 Driver

iRecruit4 are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a well-established company. This is a great temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position.
This is a physical, hands-on role where you will work alongside a Drivers Mate to complete deliveries safely and efficiently. You will be required to assist with loading and unloading items, so a good level of fitness and a willingness to get stuck in are essential.
Hours, Pay & Benefits for Class 2 Driver  :
£16.80 per hour
Minimum 8 hours pay
Monday to Friday
5:00am starts
Finish times vary depending on the route
Temp-to-perm opportunity
No weekend work

Key Responsibilities for Class 2 Driver :
Driving a Class 2 vehicle
Working alongside a Drivers Mate
Completing deliveries and collections
110 drops per day depending on the type of items
Loading and unloading goods
Assisting with physical/manual duties
Carrying out vehicle checks
Following health & safety procedures
Requirements for Class 2 Driver :
Valid Class 2 (Category

C) licence
CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous Class 2 driving experience
Comfortable with physical/manual work
Reliable and punctual
Flexible with finish times
