Wiltshire College & University Centre is looking for a Minibus Driver to support the Faculty for Environment, Science & Enterprise with class trips, educational visits, events, and other activities across the college and wider community.
This is a varied and important role, helping learners access valuable experiences beyond the classroom while ensuring they travel safely, comfortably, and reliably. Youll play an important part in supporting teaching and learning, providing transport for learners and staff to a range of destinations.

What You'll Do
Drive the College's minibus safely and responsibly, transporting learners and staff to class trips, educational visits, events, activities, and other approved destinations
Plan and follow agreed routes and schedules, ensuring passengers arrive safely and on time
Provide a friendly, professional, and helpful service to learners, staff, and other passengers
Carry out daily vehicle checks before and after use, in line with college requirements
Complete any required vehicle safety and condition checks and promptly report faults or concerns
Keep the minibus clean, safe, presentable, and in good working condition
Ensure passengers follow appropriate safety procedures while travelling
Support learners appropriately during journeys and maintain a calm, patient, and approachable manner
Follow all College policies and procedures, including safeguarding, Health & Safety, and minibus driver requirements
Maintain appropriate records relating to vehicle checks, journeys, incidents, or other required documentation
Communicate effectively with the relevant Faculty staff regarding journey arrangements, timings, destinations, and any issues arising
Respond appropriately to changes in arrangements or unexpected circumstances during trips
Contribute to creating a positive and safe experience for learners during educational visits
Attend and participate in agreed College activities and relevant staff development
Maintain your own continuing professional development
Undertake First Aid duties when required
Carry out other duties consistent with the general nature and responsibilities of the role
What You'll Bring
A full, valid driving licence with Cat D1 entitlement and no more than 6 current points.
Previous experience of driving a minibus or providing passenger transport would be desirable
