Inthisrole,youwillplayakey part inensuringaccuratefinancialrecords,smoothaccountingprocessesand reliablereconciliationsacrossouroperations. Youwillworkindependentlyondailyaccountingtaskswhilealsocontributingto processimprovementsandsupportingmonth-end andyear-end closings.

This positionisidealforsomeonewhoenjoyshands-on accounting, has astrongsenseofresponsibility, andismotivatedbyworkingin adynamic, internationaleducationenvironment.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing bookkeeping interfaces and accounting processes
  • Handling daily administrative and accounting tasks
  • Maintaining and reviewing account reconciliations
  • Performing weekly reconciliations of point-of-sale transactions
  • Monitoring and reconciling petty cash transactions
  • Following up on data based developments and supporting process improvements
  • Identifying discrepancies and resolving accounting issues proactively
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date accounting documentation
  • Performing any other duties as assigned
Your profile:
  • EU/EFTA citizenship or valid Swiss work permit
  • CFC Employé(e) de Commerce or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar accounting position
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial software
  • Experience with Abacus ERP is an asset.
  • Strong analytical, logical and IT skills
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
  • Professional working proficiency in English, written and spoken
  • Highly organized, accurate and reliable
  • Proactive, flexible and solution-oriented
  • Able to work independently and manage several priorities with professionalism
