Accountant General Ledger; m​/f​/d

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and reclassifications
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances
• Support the maintenance of chart of accounts and accounting master data
• Assist in preparing internal financial reports
• Support variance analysis between actuals and budget
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness for management reporting

• Ensure accounting activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and relevant accounting standards (IFRS/Swiss GAAP)
• Assist with internal and external audit requests

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders inside and outside the Finance Organisation to ensure accurate and timely data flow
• Maintain organized documentation

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or comparable education
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting role
• Good understanding of general accounting principles

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft dynamics, or similar) is a plus
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines

• Good working knowledge of German and English
