The Cluster Reservation Agent is part of the Reservations Department and is responsible for handling all reservation-related activities for both Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern and Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich. This includes managing guest bookings, processing inquiries, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry in the reservation systems, and providing a high level of customer service at all times.

• Handling all reservation requests as well as group requests with our hotel software
• Receiving and answering the incoming calls from external and internal sources
• Processing of VIP and regular guest bookings while considering special wishes and preferences
• Preparing offers for group and individual bookings complying with the expiry and cancellation deadlines
• Checking, processing and filing of incoming reservation correspondence
• Communicating and collaborating closely with the Front Office as well as the Sales & Marketing departments across both properties

• A completed apprenticeship as a hotel specialist, hotel clerk or travel agent. Experience in the reservations department in a similar position
• In-depth computer skills, ideally HMS, Infor and Banqueting Delphi
• A friendly, courteous, confident appearance on the phone and in direct contact with the guests
• A strong sales- and turnover-oriented working style as well as negotiation skills
• Organization skills, excellent manners and a well-groomed appearance
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Very good German and English skills, other foreign languages are an advantage
