Job Description:

The Wilkes-Barre Area School District is seeking a qualified coach for the Boys Soccer Varsity team. Candidates must review the Coaches’ Handbook (link available upon request) and submit an application, resume, coaching philosophy, and three references (including email addresses).

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Must satisfy required Pennsylvania clearances.
• Completion of PDE clearances:
  State Police Criminal Background, Child Abuse Background, FBI/Fingerprinting.
• Mandated & Permissive Reporter Training.
• Physical and TB test.
• All training required by the PIAA:
  Concussion in Sports, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, First Aid Coursework, Fundamentals of Coaching Coursework.
• Applicants consent to drug testing.
