ALPADIA Language Schools, part of the Kaplan International Languages group, offers year‑round language schools in Montreux, Berlin, Freiburg, and Lyon, where we teach French and German. We also organize summer courses in English, French, and German for children and teenagers in Europe and North America. Each destination is carefully selected, and every program is designed to combine safety, language learning, leisure, and unforgettable holidays.

Founded in 1996, our mission is to promote language learning through immersion and broaden our students’ horizons to inspire their future.

Your Role

Your mission is twofold: teach the target language (French or English) to non‑native speakers, Monday to Friday, across 4 to 5 periods per day (typically between 8:30 AM and 11:45 AM or 12:30 PM); and lead sports, cultural and creative activities, organize themed evenings, and participate in excursions to create a dynamic and safe environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Teach exclusively in the target language to promote full cultural immersion, following the syllabus and using provided resources.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging lessons adapted to different levels, and guide students in completing weekly projects.
  • Participate in pedagogical meetings and write a personalized comment for each student at the end of their stay.
  • Lead afternoon activities and themed evenings, and accompany excursions.
  • Ensure the safety and well‑being of students at all times.
  • Take part in the daily life of the camp (wake‑up, bedtime, attendance checks, welcoming new students, organizing departures).
  • Enforce camp rules and monitor attendance for classes, activities, and meals.
Your Profile
  • Minimum age: 20 years old.
  • Previous experience in teaching (classroom lessons, private tutoring, or academic support) and/or leading activities for teenagers.
  • Successful experience working with young people aged 13–17.
  • Previous experience in holiday camps or similar structures (BAFA, Youth & Sports certifications, DEGJ etc. are an asset).
  • Preferred qualifications:

    CELTA, TEFL, TESOL or equivalent.
  • C2 level in English (native or near‑native).
  • Good level of French appreciated.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skills, with an interest in sports activities.
  • Owns a personal computer with HDMI connectivity (mandatory).
  • First aid certification, swimming certification, and a valid driving license are additional assets.
We Offer You
  • An unforgettable experience in a young and dynamic atmosphere.
  • An international and stimulating work environment.
  • Accommodation with full board partially covered by ALPADIA.
  • The opportunity to enrich your CV with a valuable experience.
  • Free access to all activities and excursions.
  • A first professional experience within the ALPADIA group, present in 4 European countries with more than 19 summer camps for teenagers.

    April 3 to April 19, 2026
  • Summer Camp:
    June 19 to August 9, 2026
  • Autumn Camp:

An online module and an online information meeting (mandatory) will take place in June.
  • First aid training:
An in‑person session will be organized before the start of the summer camp and offered to all selected candidates (recommended but optional).
