The Position
FUNCTION :
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor or manager, perform duties of a non-academic, professional nature on a temporary basis for a specific project, regardless of length of employment, according to California Education Code, Section 88003, and SDCCD Board Policy 7230.
TYPICAL DUTIES INCLUDE :
Duties vary based on assignment and requirements of the specific project as determined by the hiring manager.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS :
Extentive knowledge and/or ability based on research, experience, or occupation and in a particular area of study as necessary to perform assigned duties.

The certificate must be renewed every 4 years as a condition of continuing employment);
Have fingerprints taken by a Live Scan computer at the district’s expense (Clearance must be received prior to first day of employment); AND Present original documents for proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
