The Lampeter-Strasburg School District has special education support staff positions available for the elementary and middle school buildings. Positions entail up to 35 work hours per week, supporting students academically and behaviorally across a variety of settings.

Candidates must have an Associate’s Degree or higher, hold the Credential of Competency through the PA Department of Education, or be willing to complete 20 paid hours of coursework towards the Credential. Starting pay rate is $16.52 per hour plus medical benefits. Hours are flexible based upon personal childcare needs.

• Current PA Criminal History background check
• Current FBI Criminal background check
• Current Child Abuse background check
• Proof of TB test, results must be within the past year

Once all paperwork is submitted it will be reviewed, and the applicant, if qualified and selected, will be contacted to schedule an interview and complete clearances and any additional paperwork.
