At this time, Forest Lake Area School District is hiring many substitute support role positions. Once signed up, you can choose which positions and days that you are able to work. This is a great opportunity for retirees, and those folks who want or need a bit of extra spending money.

On call/As needed

• Paraprofessional Substitute provides support to teachers in carrying out individualized and group lesson plans and classroom activities and also provides students with personal care and attention. The starting rate of pay is $14.00/hr benefits are not available with substitute positions.
• Office/Clerical Substitute provides support to schools in the administrative assistant and other office roles - greeting and directing visitors, answering phone calls, assisting students who need appointments with their counselor, or who just need a bit of TLC. The starting rate of pay is $14.00/hr benefits are not available with substitute positions.
• Title I Substitute provides support to staff in meeting the needs of students by monitoring students, interacting with students, setting up activities, identifying needs and performing clerical activities. The starting rate of pay is $14.00/hr benefits are not available with substitute positions.
• Noon Duty Substitute monitors students during lunch hour and recess to provide a duty free period for the teachers and provides clerical assistance to teachers for classroom projects. The starting rate of pay is $14.00/hr benefits are not available with substitute positions.
• LPN Substitute provides health related services to students. Must have a current LPN license on file. The starting rate of pay is $19.00/hr benefits are not available with substitute positions.
