Bioprocess Engineer in USP / DSP / Bio Conjugates Key responsibilities

• Ensure that operational activities for clinical and/or commercial manufacturing are performed on-time and within given safety and quality standards
• Act as the functional lead for preparation, manufacturing execution, cleaning and changeover in the assigned area
• Lead one or more defined USP areas (e.g. seed train, main cultivation or harvest) for the production of therapeutic proteins with either mammalian or microbial expression systems (Bioprocess Engineer USP)
• In charge of one or more defined DSP areas (e.g. gain, polishing or filling) for the purification of therapeutic proteins from either mammalian or microbial cells (Bioprocess Engineer DSP)
• Responsible for entire processes or process units for clinical and commercial manufacturing projects in therapeutic bio‑conjugates like Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADC) (Bioprocess Engineer Bio Conjugates)

• Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related Life Science subject, or Bachelor’s holder with experience in pharma production
• Knowledge in either USP (such as bioreactors) or DSP units (such as chromatography)
• Working experience in biomanufacturing would be an advantage
• GMP experience and understanding of bioprocess technology
• Excellent communication skills in English, good German skills of advantage
