We collaborate with globally leading technology companies to develop new solutions for future smart glasses, smartphones, displays, lasers, and similar devices.

In this position as a (Junior) Electrical Engineer or Experienced Technician, you will work alongside experienced engineers in the Electrical Engineering team. You will play a central role in the development and assembly of electronic systems — from circuit design through installation to the commissioning of our lithography systems.

This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Team Lead and is based in Würenlos, Switzerland.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of circuits and PCB designs (schematic & PCB layout)
  • Assembly, wiring, and electrical installation of modules in system production
  • Commissioning, functional testing, fault analysis, and experimental setups including documentation
  • Project support from the concept phase through design to commissioning
  • Assistance with measurements and material procurement / component selection
  • Close collaboration with engineering and production teams:
    Mechanical, Optics, Systems Engineering, and Software/Controls

Profile

  • Completed degree (University of Applied Sciences or Higher Technical School) in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
  • Understanding of analog and digital circuit design
  • Initial practical experience through internships, project work, or a prior technical apprenticeship (e.g., automation technician, electronics technician) is helpful
  • A plus but not a must: experience with KiCad, EPLAN, Altium, or similar EDA tools
  • Careful, proactive, and systematic working style
