Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop composite components and assemblies for high-performance applications
  • Propose and evaluate structural concepts with focus on weight, performance, and manufacturability
  • Support and coordinate engineering changes throughout the product lifecycle
  • Take ownership of technical work packages, ensuring delivery in line with project scope and timelines
  • Create and maintain 3D models, 2D drawings, and product structures using CAD and PLM tools
  • Prepare and manage composite manufacturing data and related documentation
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality requirements, and engineering best practices
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams across engineering and production
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders at different organizational levels
Our Ideal Candidate Should Have
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in composite structures design, preferably within a regulated industry
  • Strong proficiency in 3D modelling and drafting tools (NX or similar CAD systems preferred)
  • Familiarity with composite design methodologies and related software tools (e.g., Fibersim or equivalent)
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
