Internship in MV drives R&D

Position

Title: R&D Intern (6-8 months temporary work placement).
Reports To: R&D Team Lead.

Gain experience in control of electric drives through a temporary work placement (6-8 months).

• Make a review of classical and machine learning methods for motor parameter identification.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate parameter identification models in MATLAB/Simulink for selected motor type(s).

• Currently pursuing a master's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
• Good working knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink.
• Interest in control theory, power electronics; familiarity with electrical machines models is beneficial.
• Familiarity with data-driven methods and fundamentals of machine learning or system identification is an advantage.
• Keen interest in research is desirable.
• Proficiency in English.
• You hold a current valid VISA/work permit for Switzerland or a confirmation for a mandatory internship from your university.
