Industrialization Manufacturing Engineer
The Industrialization Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for executing all industrialization activities on manufacturing lines, equipment, processes, and injection tooling. This on‑site role reports to the Senior Manager, MFG & Project MFG and is part of Cytiva’s Manufacturing Team located in Grens.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare User Requirement Specifications (URS) in collaboration with process owners both locally and globally.
- Lead the full industrialization set‑up for molds, manufacturing lines, equipment, and processes, including routing, work instruction, standard work, maintainability, EHS compliance, process validation, equipment qualification, and risk analysis (pFMEA).
- Own long‑term actions to support manufacturing routine and production on critical topics.
- Identify and qualify suppliers, managing the process from RFQ through onboarding to FAT/SAT and delivery.
- Manage full change control processes: redact documentation, monitor follow‑up, and close changes.
- Accountable for planning and budget execution for the identified project scope.
- Communicate, interface, and collaborate with associates from all functions including MPL, QC, QA, Production, Manufacturing Routine, Maintenance, R&D, EHS, and global teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field; alternatively, high‑school diploma with significant production/engineering experience.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in an equivalent position.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement best practices.
- Rigorous, proactive, flexible, results‑oriented, and motivated by achievement.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Preferred experience in a regulated environment such as Life Sciences, Automotive, or Aerospace.
- Preferred strong knowledge of industrialization processes/products.
- Preferred knowledge of qualification/validation activities (e.g., V‑cycle).
