Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Be part of a multi‑disciplinary team that designs, develops, assembles, tests and commissions novel process equipment for microencapsulation processes.
• Lead or support process validation activities, including protocol development, execution, and documentation, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams including both internal and external experts to achieve project objectives.
• Perform testing, validation and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues and challenges.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and outcomes.

• Strong technical background with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Process Engineering or related field or higher.
• Apprentice background also welcome.
• 2+ years background in process engineering (apprentices highly encouraged), preferably in the food, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong technical expertise in process design, optimization, and troubleshooting, with knowledge of relevant engineering principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in process modeling and simulation software (e.g. MATLAB, or similar tools).
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to manufacturing processes (e.g., FDA, ISO).
• Project Management experience.
• Team player and excited to work in a rapidly growing process technology company.
• Work permit in Switzerland.
• You are intrinsically motivated to design technical solutions for challenging chemical process problems and have a track record of doing so.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent English;
  German is an asset.
