Hardware Design Engineer – High-Tech Laser System

About Our Client:
Our client is a globally leading, innovation-driven technology company specializing in industrial laser systems and manufacturing solutions. At their Swiss site, cutting-edge precision is a way of life: this is where highly complex control systems and beam sources for the global market are created. For their high-caliber R&D team, we are seeking an accomplished Hardware Design Engineer to start immediately or by mutual agreement.
Your Responsibilities – Where Precision MeetsInnovation:
- Development & Simulation: You will take charge of the conceptualization, development, simulation, and verification of sophisticated analog and digital circuits for high-precision laser systems.
- Module Design: You will design electronic modules for power supply as well as for the intelligent control of laser beam sources and peripheral components.
- PCB Design & EMC: You will be responsible for the design, assembly, commissioning, and testing of EMC-compliant Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
- Optimization
:
You will analyze existing electronic circuits and continuously improve their performance. - Documentation & Production Readiness: You will create technical specifications for mass production, maintain development-related documentation, and successfully guide products through to production readiness.
- Prototyping: The assembly, commissioning, and qualification of functional samples and prototypes are an integral part of your varied daily routine.
- Education: Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Microtechnology, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline (University of Applied Sciences/Technical College, University/ETH).
- Experience: Several years of solid professional experience in the development of electronic circuits and embedded systems.
- Tools & Standards: Experience with Altium Designer, as well as knowledge of Functional Safety, is a strong asset.
- Languages: Fluent German (min. C2 level) is mandatory; good English skills (min. B2 level) round out your profile.
