AYES Switzerland is looking for a position as ECS System Engineer in Luzern, Switzerland. This is a permanent, full‑time role with salary discussed during the recruitment process, based on seniority and responsibilities within the activity.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate ECS system integration and interfaces with engineering teams (Airworthiness, Avionics, Power Plant, Electrical, and Safety) as well as suppliers.
Create and assess certification documents (reports, test plans/results), ensuring hardware and software compliance with DO‑160G, DO‑178C, and DO‑254 standards.
Define and support integrated rig testing for Avionics and ECS controllers.
Actively support test campaigns by troubleshooting ECS controllers and system integration.
Attend design reviews, technical workshops, and support the team in discussions with Airworthiness Authorities.

Ideal Candidate

In‑depth knowledge of aircraft ECS systems (ATA 21).
Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft system engineering, focusing on DO‑160G, DO‑178C, and DO‑254 qualification.
Proven ability to prepare and review certification documentation independently.
Strong problem‑solving skills and proactive communication abilities.
Fluency in English (minimum B2 level, verbal and written).
