Financial Controller; m​/f​/d

Overview

Trelleborg Medical Solutions is seeking a financial controller (m/f/d) to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Stein Am Rhein, Switzerland and reports to the BU Finance Director Medical Device Europe.

• Oversee and execute the activities of the Accounting Department, including monthly, quarterly and year-end closing
• Own the European invoicing hub, including centralized AR, billing, cash application and credit management
• Manage financial reporting, budgeting and audit preparation
• Maintain and analyze the cost accounting system
• Oversee and execute Accounts Payable processes
• Ensure tax and VAT compliance and timely filings
• Provide financial insights and forecasts to support decision making
• Drive process improvements in collaboration with the Plant Manager
• Ensure strong internal controls and compliance at the site
• Conduct inventory counts and fixed asset audits
• Recruit, supervise and develop the Accounting team

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years’ experience in accounting/controlling
• Manufacturing and cost accounting experience is a strong plus
• Leadership experience is a strong plus
• JDE knowledge is preferred, but not required

• Strong English skills;
  German preferred
• Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and collaboration mindset
• IFRS knowledge and hands-on application experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based systems
