Female Night Care And Support Worker

We are seeking a Night Care and Support Worker for our Pears Court Retirement Living Service.

At Jewish Care, we support people to live independently, with dignity and connection at the heart of everything we do. Our Retirement Living services offer a vibrant, supportive community where tenants can enjoy their independence, knowing care and support are there when needed.

This role is based on an average of 35 hours per week, worked across a two-week rolling rota. Night shifts run from 9:00pm to 7:00am.

There is a genuine occupational requirement, in accordance with the Sex Discrimination Act 1974, for the postholder to be female.

This isn't a typical care role.

As a Care & Support Worker, you'll support tenants living in their own flats - helping them stay independent, connected, and in control of their lives. From practical support to companionship, you'll build meaningful relationships and play a key role in creating a strong community.

• Supporting tenants with personal care and daily living

• Working with health and social care professionals to provide joined-up support
• Keeping accurate records and using care planning systems

• A great communicator who enjoys building relationships
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable supporting people with different needs, including dementia
• Willing to learn and develop

Experience in care is helpful but not essential—we provide full training.
